In our endeavors to bring new and exciting people and horses to the Local Horse Industry, Ride The West is happy to announce a "new to the area" local trainer from Storey Horse Training, Mr. Ethan Storey. Even though Ethan is only 21, he has a tremendous background in cattle ranching, farming and horse training, growing up in the saddle beside his Dad on ranches from Nebraska to Horseshoe Bend, Idaho. Recently relocated to Cheney, WA he is operating in the Facility originally owned by the late Larry Melroth Performance Horses and former owner of the AQHA Stallion Great Pine Jr., Ethan is a follower of the Ray Hunt and Dennis Reis methods of horse training, but also his own ideas that he wants to implement at his new facility. Specializing in Rope, Ranch and Cow Horses, Ethan will offer lessons, tune-ups, restarting troubled horses and boarding. See his Colt Starting on the Trail to Success Demo Sunday afternoon at 3:30 in the Round Pen. Storey Training also has a booth at the show so you can visit with him throughout the weekend. To contact Ethan you can call (509)
