Ride The West Horse & Ranch Expo May 22-23-24, 2009 Ride The West has several opportunities to promote your horses and organizations at the Expo. Please return your requests to us w/ your contracts. If you have any questions about any part of these events, don't hesitate to call or email me. If you do not hear back from me PLEASE try again, as we either did not get your email, phone/fax message. Check your choices. 1) Spirit of the West Show Friday May 22 -pm - 7 pm Mane Indoor Arena - Specialty Act ______ This event is part of our Charity frundraiser. All of our clinicians are invited to perform on their horses to music. We also SELECT some of the groups and organizations that are exhibiting horses at the Expo. This is a glitzy, glam show, with 3-6 minute individual or group performances to music. We have a professional announcer, and we run the sound. You must provide your music on cd, and a short introduction of what you will be doing. This is NOT a stallion preview or breed showcase like we produce during the day. This performance needs to be something different and more of an Entertainment Event.
Short Description of performance: *We will notify you if your specialty act will be included. 2) "Spirit of the West Show" Parade of Breeds ______ "Parade of Breeds" kicks off at the beginning of Spirit of the West Show TWO participants from any one breed group or organization will enter the arena together, we introduce them, they follow the rail to the arena front, make a circle in the middle, then follow the rail out around to the out gate at the other end. This is fast paced and entertaining, and the crowd loved it, cheering on their favorites. You can ride, drive, in hand, lead, but no liberty as there are too many people in the ring. Any exhibitor can be a part of the "Parade of Breeds"
3) Stallion Preview_____or 4) Breed Showcase_____ One ea. on Sat and Sun, time TBA Held in the Mane Indoor Arena with our own announcer and sound tech. Each of you will be showing your stallion individually, or your group all together. You will have the length of one cd song, about 3-5 minutes of exhibit time. Please provide your typed scripts to us by 5/1/09. Bring your cd with you. You can ride, drive, in hand, liberty, leadline or all of the above! Scripts are to be approx. :60 of script....then move with the music.
