By the time Steve Rother graduated from college he had taken nearly 10,000 riders into the national forests across Western America, traveling across some of the most rugged 'extreme trail' landscapes that the West has to offer. He has been able to combine this early education with a background in cow working, ranch roping, reining, cutting, dressage, jumping, liberty, trick training, and mustang gentling to provide one of the most well rounded clinic programs offered today. Even though he wears a cowboy hat, many of his clients are jumpers, dressage, and gaited horse riders. It is Steve's ability to communicate with both horse and rider that has allowed him to show thousands of horse owners the difference his methods can make! Steve has helped over 20,000 horses and their riders, and performed demonstrations to over 1 million spectators. Whether you are a backyard enthusiast or a professional, Steve can help you and your horse. Steve first came to us several years ago, in fact right around that time, he started working with Francesca who is not only his student but partner. We were so impressed with his talent, image, and ability to hold an audience. His performances are always spot-on, creative and educational. And of course, the addition of Spanky, Francesca's Pony was a real joy for us as we too have the magical pony bug. They are a crowd pleaser wherever they go. So we are pleased that Steve was able to rearrange his schedule to include The Ranch Event.
